IRS 5500 & 1099-R’s

ERISA Form 5500 was created so the government can assess the financial condition, investments, and operations of all employee benefits plans.  They are prepared annually along with 1099-R which purpose is to report plan withdrawals.

Nondiscrimination tests ensure that highly compensated employees do not take substantially greater advantage of this tax savings than lower-paid employees.

HSA Administration

An HSA is a unique tax-advantaged account that can be used for paying or reimbursing qualified medical expenses for an individual, spouse or family. To be eligible you must have a high deductible health plan. We offer a HSA Debit Card that provides access to your HSA funds. Debit card transactions are limited to your current balance.

FSA, HRA and Dependent Care

An HRA is an employer-owned & employer funded account designed to help members bridge the gap on eligible healthcare expenses.

An FSA lets employees set-aside pre-tax money to pay for eligible medical expenses.

The difference is that members do not keep their unused FSA money & funds may be forfeited back your employer.

COBRA Administration

This is the federal law that provides many workers with the right to continue coverage in a group health plan. This federal law applies to employers with 20 or more employees, including self-insured employers.
